I work full-time. Do I have time to join this program?
Yes! This program is created for full-time design professionals. In total, you'll commit 4-5 hours a week to this program.
Do I have to attend all of the live sessions in real-time?
It's okay if you have to miss a workshop or two. We record every live workshop and make it available for you to replay, at your convenience. That said, we strongly recommend you make time for the live sessions. Doing the guided exercises with a group during the workshop is the best way to learn and internalize.
I'm a student. Should I join this program?
The program aims to support full-time design professionals. If you're looking to breaking into the UX industry, this program might not be the best fit for you. Instead, I may suggest ADPList.org for mentorship or UX Bootcamp for more formal design education.
What time are the sessions?
Our core sessions will be Mondays & Wednesdays: 7:00pm-8:30pm ET. Guest interview sessions and office hours will be Fridays 12:00pm-1:00pm ET. All times Eastern Daylight Time(UTC -4:00).
Can I expense this/get an invoice?
Yes, you'll receive an invoice after checkout. If you need more information for reimbursement or to convince your boss, please email Yuan.
How is this program different from UX Bootcamps?
UX Bootcamp provides entry-level training for people who want to break into UX design. It helps them learn the basics of UX design & research process, create a portfolio, and land an entry-level UX design job. The Design Career Jumpstart program focuses on personalized coaching, active learning, and community. It's created for full-time design professionals looking to take their careers to the next level.
